On behalf of the Executive Organizing Committee, I would like to extend a warm welcome and invitation to those of you interested in joining the Japan Endovascular Treatment Conference (JET2013) to be held from February 15th - 17th, 2013 at the Osaka International Conference Center.
JET was conceived in 2007 as a successor to the Japan Peripheral Intervention Conference (JPIC) in order to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and research in endovascular therapy (EVT) across therapeutic disciplines. JET aims to promote collaborations in the development of new and improved treatments, techniques, drugs and devices for successful EVT outcomes.
JET has been restructured as a General Incorporated Association as of January 4th, 2012 in order to engage in a wide range of initiatives such as the education and training of young physicians and researchers, establishing an optimal performance goal (OPG) as a clinical therapy index to resolve device lag issues and to promote joint research activities with government and industry as well as other societies. Free and open communication is encouraged and we welcome the active participation of younger members.
We hope you will take this opportunity to become a member of JET and join our annual international meetings as well as seminars and training programs. Your strong support and valuable input will be instrumental in the continued growth and success of JET as well as in advancing EVT research.
We feel it a great honor that JET2013|the first meeting since being reborn as a new organizational entity-will be held in Osaka. I look forward to welcoming you all here next February.
